Job Description
Hello!
We are looking for an energetic couple who share our love for the camping industry to work with us through the 2025 summer season. We are a small, family-run campground just outside of Nashville, TN. We have a new pool, nice grounds and facilities, excellent customer service and guest satisfaction, and are close to countless great things to do and see in the Nashville area. The campground is busy, but we are very easy-going, and have been successful in making this a relatively stress-free/drama-free work environment. The start and end dates will be April 1st, 2025 until November 1st, 2025, but we are flexible and can work with you around existing plans. A late March arrival is ideal to allow for training time.
We need one person to work on our outside maintenance team, and the other to work in the office at the front desk. Previous KOA and K2 experience is strongly preferred, and applicants with this experience will be considered before all others.
Applicants must be able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, lift, and perform all duties assigned by management. Applicants must also be cheerful, punctual, display initiative, display patience and friendliness with guests, work well with the other KOA team members, and follow instruction.
Maintenance Duties: Trash pickup, site cleaning, repairs, landscaping, site escorts, working with guests to solve problems, projects, pool maintenance, and anything else assigned by management. Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, repair, and customer service experience preferred.
Front Desk Duties: Use KOA’s Kampsight (K2) program to make reservations and register guests, solve problems with guests, merchandise stocking and inventory, light cleaning and organizing in the office, drafting computer documents, using a printer, and any other tasks assigned by management. Kampsight experience is strongly preferred, but you may apply regardless.
We ask that both applicants be very versatile and able to cover any job needed, (i.e. occasional housekeeping, landscaping, etc.)
Working hours are typically between 30-40 hours per person per week. (There will be a set schedule based on your needs and ours that may slightly change as our office hours change.)
