Schedule: MUST be available Thursday through Monday, including holidays and late evenings
Position Summary
Circle Pines KOA Resort is looking for a friendly, dependable, and safety-minded Go-Kart Track Attendant. This position is responsible for helping guests safely enjoy the track, monitoring go-kart operations, and keeping the track area clean, organized, and welcoming.
Mechanical experience is not required, but basic knowledge of go-karts, small engines, or similar equipment is a plus. Training will be provided for track procedures and assigned duties. This could be a full time position if you're willing to work between departments.
Primary Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide friendly, patient, and professional service.

Explain track rules, rider requirements, safety procedures, and operating instructions.

Confirm that required waivers have been completed before guests ride.

Check rider height requirements and determine whether guests qualify for single or double karts.

Help guests safely enter and exit go-karts and properly secure safety restraints.

Monitor the track closely and respond quickly to stalled or spun-out karts, unsafe driving, accidents, and other concerns.

Start, stop, move, and reposition go-karts throughout the workday.

Open, close, push, and pull track gates repeatedly.

Complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and basic safety-inspection duties.

Watch for visible equipment concerns and promptly report mechanical or safety issues to a supervisor.

Remove unsafe equipment from service when directed.

Keep the track, loading area, guest areas, and workspaces clean and organized.

Handle sales or ticketing duties as assigned.

Follow all track operating, safety, and emergency procedures.

Perform other reasonable job-related duties based on campground needs.

Ability to work patiently and professionally with guests of all ages, including children and families.

Ability to remain attentive, calm, and safety-focused during busy or challenging situations.

Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.

Availability to work the required seasonal schedule, including weekends, holidays, and late evenings.

Ability to learn and consistently follow operating procedures and workplace policies.

Mechanical or small-engine experience is helpful but not required.

Must meet any minimum age requirements applicable to assigned duties.
Physical and Work Requirements

Remain on your feet and move around the track area for most or all of the workday.

Frequently bend, reach, crouch, twist, and climb in and out of go-karts.

Repeatedly push, pull, move, and reposition track gates, spun-out go-karts, and related equipment.

Work outdoors in changing conditions, including sun, wind, rain, and varying temperatures.

Work around engine noise, fuel, exhaust, moving equipment, and uneven outdoor surfaces.

Maintain the attention, awareness, and reaction time necessary to monitor an active go-kart track safely.
