Position Summary
Circle Pines KOA Resort is looking for a friendly, dependable, and positive Guest Services Team Member. This position combines campground front desk service, retail, food and beverage preparation, and general office responsibilities.
Our strongest guest services employees enjoy working with people, remain upbeat during busy or challenging situations, and contribute positively to the entire team.
Primary Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide friendly, helpful, and professional service.

Use the K2 campground management system for reservations, check-ins, checkouts, payments, site changes, and guest accounts.

Answer telephone calls and assist with questions about reservations, campground amenities, policies, and the surrounding area.

Use the Square POS system to process purchases and payments accurately.

Address guest questions or concerns calmly and involve a supervisor when needed.

Keep the general store stocked, clean, organized, and easy to shop.

Assist with merchandising, product displays, pricing, and inventory awareness.

Scoop and serve ice cream from the counter located behind the front desk.

Prepare espresso-based beverages, coffees, cream sodas, and other seasonal drinks.

Follow established food-handling, sanitation, and equipment-cleaning procedures.

Keep the front desk, office, beverage area, store, and surrounding guest areas clean and presentable.

Complete assigned opening, closing, restocking, and cleaning duties.

Communicate important guest information and operational concerns to coworkers and supervisors.

Perform other reasonable job-related duties based on campground needs.
Qualifications and Physical Requirements

A genuinely positive attitude toward both guests and coworkers.

Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills.

Ability to remain patient and professional during busy periods or difficult guest interactions.

Comfortable learning computer programs, reservation systems, payment systems, and beverage equipment.

Previous front desk, retail, hospitality, barista, or cash-handling experience is helpful but not required.

Dependable attendance and availability for shifts scheduled anywhere between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., including weekends and holidays.

Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and frequently walk, bend, reach, stock merchandise, and move supplies.

Starting pay of $16.50 per hour, with the possibility of higher pay based on relevant experience.

This is a tipped position, providing the opportunity to earn tips in addition to the hourly wage. Tip amounts are not guaranteed and may vary.
