Winona KOA Holiday is looking for friendly, dependable work kamper couples to join our team for the season. Each person works about 20 hours a week in exchange for a site. Tell us which roles fit you best:
- Front Office: check guests in and out, answer phones and messages, take bookings and payments, and help solve guest issues.
- Housekeeping: keep bathrooms, cabins, and the store clean, and turn over cabins after guests leave.
- Outside Maintenance: mow and care for the grounds, check sites and common areas, and handle basic plumbing and electrical fixes.
- Weekend Events Host: Run weekend guest activities and help create the fun, welcoming feel that brings families back.
We want self-starters who can work on their own, stay calm when things get busy, and make every guest feel heard and valued. Weekends, holidays, and some evenings are required. All roles report to the On-Site Manager.
Free Site, Laundry allowance, uniforms, discounted store purchases. Propane and Firewood at cost.
Spend your season in Winona, Minnesota, tucked between the Mississippi River and the bluffs. Winona KOA Holiday is a family-owned campground growing into something special, and our work kampers are a big part of that. You'll be part of a small, close-knit team where your ideas matter and your work shows up right away in the guest experience.
On your days off, you can hike the bluffs at Garvin Heights, bike the trails around Lake Winona, paddle the backwaters, or drive the Great River Road, one of the most scenic drives in the Midwest. Downtown Winona has local coffee shops, restaurants, and the Minnesota Marine Art Museum, and La Crosse and Rochester are both an easy drive.
We're looking for couples who love people, take pride in a clean and welcoming campground, and want a season that feels more like community than a job.
Every Saturday from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, we host live music right here at the campground. Grab a chair and enjoy it with our guests.
