We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands on campground manager to oversee the daily operation of our KOA campground in Davie, Florida.
The ideal candidate will have prior KOA campground managenent experience and understand what it takes to successfully operate a busy campground while providing an exceptional guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring someone who can confidently manage staff, guests, campground operations, and day-to-day challenges.
We are looking for a versitile team leader who is willing to roll up their sleeves and jump in whenever needed.
Couple Preferred - Experienced Individual Considered
A management couple is preferred for this position, particularly a couple with previous KOA campground management experience who can work together as a strong leadership team.
However, we will consider a single individual with extensive KOA campground managment experience who has the skills, leadership ability, work ethic, and versatility to successfully manage the campground.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all daily campground operations.
Provide strong leadership, direction, and support to campground staff.
Train, schedule, supervise, and develope relationships.
Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain positive guests relationships.
Handle guest concerns and resolve problems professionally and efficiently.
Manage reservations. check-ins, check-outs, and campground occupancy.
Maintain proficiency with the K2 Kampsite reservation system.
Monitor campground grounds, facilities, buildings, sites, and common areas.
Coordinate and oversee campground and facility maintenance.
Assist with maintenance and facility operation tasks.
Maintain campground appearence, cleanliness, safety, and overall standards.
Ensure that KOA policies, procedures, and standards are followed.
Work closely with ownership/management to improve campground operations and guest satisfaction.
Lead by example and create a positive team environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous KOA campground management experience.
Proven leadership and staff management experience.
Strong customer service and comminication skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Physically capable of preforming hands-on campground duties.
Willingness to work weekends and holidays and varying schedules as campground operations require.
Computer proficient and use campground software, including K2 Kampsight.
Valid drivers license.
