We are seeking an energetic, adaptable, and reliable Campground Assistant Manager (Individual or Team preferred) to join our team in South Florida. We are looking for team players that are willing to step in and step up. In this role, you will play a vital role in managing the daily operations of the campground, providing exceptional service to our guests, and stepping in as the Acting Manager whenever the Manager is offsite or needed.
Key Responsibilities:
-Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day campground functions, including front desk operations, guest check-ins/check-outs, reservations, store sales, housekeeping, and leadership when Manager is away.
-Management Support: Serve as the primary back-up to the campground Manager, taking full operational responsibility and leadership when the Manager is away.
-Park & Facility Maintenance: Perform daily walk throughs of the entire park to inspect facilities, ensure cleanliness, monitor site safety and address guest needs promptly.
-Staff & Guest Interaction: Deliver top-tier customer service, resolve guest complaints or issues professionally, and assist supervising staff and work campers.
-General Maintenance & Groundskeeping: Assist with light physical maintenance, groundskeeping, site clean-up, and outdoor tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
-Team Structure: Workcamper couples or management teams are strongly preferred, though qualified individual applicants will also be considered.
-Physical Capability: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably and walk or stand for extended periods during daily park operations.
-Weather Adaptability: Must be comfortable working outdoors in South Florida's warm, humid, and variable climate.
-Experience: Prior Campground, RV park management experience preferred.
-Skills: Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills and computer literacy and K2 Kampsite reservation systems highly recommended. Will consider all applicants.
-Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, holiday, and variable shifts as required by peak campground business hours.
