The Canandaigua/Rochester KOA is seeking a motivated work-camping couple to join our team for the 2027 camping season, from April 28th through October 16, 2027.
This couple will serve as our AOK Kafe Team, with primary responsibility for the daily operation of the campground café. Duties include food preparation and service, pizza and ice cream sales, customer service, inventory assistance, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment. Team members will work closely with campground management to ensure smooth and efficient café operations throughout the season. For additional hours you may be able to work in the store and help with grass cutting, pending your desire and staffing needs.
Because the café operates during both morning and evening hours, some split shifts may be required. In addition, the position includes one evening per week of campground night security duties.
Hours will vary seasonally, with increased demand during the summer months and reduced hours during the spring and fall. We anticipate approximately 3–4 days per week in the spring and fall and 5 days per week during the summer, averaging 20-30 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours for those interested in assisting in other areas of campground operations.
Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is required.
No prior café or food service experience is necessary, but is helpfull. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to be part of a team.
The Canandaigua/Rochester KOA is proud to be a 5-star rated campground on KOA.com, a distinction made possible by our outstanding team members.
