Job Description

Awarded KOA’s 2018 Campground of the Year! We’re a year-round destination campground located near the Delaware Water Gap in the Pocono Mountains, seven miles off I-80, and we are looking for an on-grounds Assistant Manager couple to finish out the season (through November.)

The right candidates will help keep this park a sought-after destination. Duties that would fall under your management responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assisting the manager in overseeing all day-to-day operations involved with running a campground.
• Lead by example and be hands-on.
• Cashiering.
• Stocking shelves.
• Inventory & ordering.
• Keeping the store clean & organized.
• Assist daily and overnight customers during the check-in/check-out process.
• Work with K2 Computer-based registration and reservations.
• General administrative duties including training of employees.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise.
• Security.
• Knowledge and maintenance of landscaping, housekeeping, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical issues that arise.
• Help with and organizing special events, recreational activities,  pancake breakfasts, etc.
• Anything else that comes up…

Most importantly, your priority is to improve guest relations and camper satisfaction. Our main goal is that campers want to return. Workamper and employee return is also significant with a great Management Team.

Depending upon seasonal needs, hours may vary.
We’ll make every effort to schedule couples to work the same hours, but during the busy season this may not always be possible.

Must be able to work long shifts, including days or nights, weekday or weekends and holidays. Able to stand for most of the day and lift up to 50 lbs.  Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladder. Capable of moving safely over uneven terrain.

Must have valid Driver’s License.
