Enjoy the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains from your front door. Our award-winning property is nestled at the entrance to the GSM National Park in Townsend TN. With a "World Class Service" Net Promotor Score of 85, our team is passionate about getting customer service right! We make the best fudge in the Smokies on site! We entertain our guests by hosting themed weekends with fun activities. Our busy Marathon convenience store and gas station is the first retail stop coming out of the National Park.
We currently have all positions available for the remainder of the 2026 season, running until December 1. We are a busy campground open all year. We will cross-train all workampers to be able to successfully fulfill all roles on property. KOA deducts a site rental fee of $92.30 per pay period per couple. Typically, we schedule workamper couples for 32 hours per week per person. After the site rental deduction, remaining hours are paid at an hourly rate. We only have a small number of sites available for workampers so we do require couples to both be team members.
We offer discounts to some area (Pigeon Forge/Sevierville) attractions such as Dollywood, Stampede, Titanic, etc. We offer a 20% discount (except gas, beer, tobacco) in our convenience store.
We enjoy serving others and helping them create wonderful memories. We have a volunteer chaplain couple for support and encouragement for team members and camping guests. If being a people person puts you in your happy place, then Townsend is the place for you!
