The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the general maintenance, operation, and upkeep of the campground’s buildings, facilities, equipment, vehicles, and grounds. This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical knowledge, leadership, dependability, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform general carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and mechanical repairs.
- Maintain and repair campground buildings, facilities, cabins, equipment, vehicles, and grounds.
- Install and maintain fixtures, equipment, appliances, and other facility components as needed.
- Perform mowing, weed control, landscaping, and general outside maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, cabins, facilities, vehicles, and equipment.
- Maintain compliance with the campground’s preventative maintenance program.
- Ensure heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, electrical, and other systems are functioning properly.
- Respond to guest requests and complete maintenance work orders promptly and professionally.
