  • Responsibilities 

    Duties include:
    -Prepare food items from the menu in accordance with established standards, in a timely manner
    -Operate large volume cooking equipment including flat top grill, fryers, broaster etc.
    -Work collaboratively with kitchen staff
    -Provide customer service
    -Assist with inventory, stocking and organization of food and food service items
    -Maintain health, sanitation and safety standards in kitchen and dining area

  • Compensation/Benefits 

    $12.00/hour – $14/hour pay rate dependent upon experience and references.

    35-40/hours per week.

Job Description

The Devils Tower / Black Hills KOA Journey in northeast Wyoming is a family-owned and operated campground surrounded by the historic Campstool Ranch established in 1882. In 1906, President Theodore Roosevelt named Devils Tower America’s First National Monument. In 1977, Steven Spielberg filmed his sci-fi classic “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” on the property and the campground was established shortly thereafter in 1979. The local area boasts great museums, outdoor activities, locally-owned shops, and a variety of great dining. The campground is also a great base camp for adventures in the Black Hills and Badlands with longer weekends available to explore Cody and Yellowstone. This position is for a prep cook in the very busy Campstool Cafe. Typical shifts are 7-8 hours with 5 days in the work week.

NO CERTIFICATIONS NECESSARY!

We are willing and happy to train those without experience. A positive attitude and good work ethic are essential. Teamwork is required.
