Job Description

The Maintenance & Safety Team is responsible for just that – maintenance and safety. It is a critical responsibility of each member of our Maintenance & Safety Team to ensure that our properties are safe for our guests to enjoy. Our team members follow regularly scheduled safety inspections and repairs, while always keeping an eye out for potential hazards, before they become actual hazards. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that everything on-site works like a well-oiled machine, including the utilities we provide to our guests, the equipment and resources our team relies on to service our guests, and the appearance and upkeep of the buildings and grounds.

Perform basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, painting, staining, power washing, maintenance to campground buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds as directed by the campground’s General Manager.
Implement daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs as instituted by the General Manager. Depending on your properties amenities this may include regular cleaning and maintenance of the swimming pool and spa, lawn mowing, weed eating, landscaping, garbage pick-up, propane pumping, laundry servicing, and various other campground equipment upkeep.
Ensure that all guests and team members are provided with a safe environment at all times.
Comply with all company, federal, state and local safety programs by adhering to established guidelines in the operation and storage of various equipment, tools, and chemicals with an emphasis on your personal safety, as well as that of fellow team members and campground guests.
Always greet guests with a smile.
Always maintain a well-groomed appearance, a proper uniform and name tag.
Provide superior guest service by being attentive, responsive and helpful to guests’ needs.
Report all guest problems, requests or complaints to the General Manager.
