Job Description
Thank you for considering working for us for our 2024 season, below is a quick outline of our program. We are looking to fill sometime between beginning of or by mid April to mid to end of October if possible, as our shoulder seasons are still busy.
•Work program: Couples only. One half of the team primary responsibilities to help with registration, (K2 knowledge extremely helpful!) front desk, store help, and some bathroom/laundry cleaning. The other half is pool maintenance, grounds and building maintenance, with possible cabin/bathroom cleaning (on occasion when busy checkouts to assist housekeeping in our team atmosphere), escorting, and firewood/ice deliveries, etc., and improvements/projects to all aspects of the park.
•Hours per week to work: 24 to 28 hours per person per week. (We can be somewhat flexible to try to customize your desires to accommodate more hours if desired.) We try to schedule couples with same or similar hours and always give 3 consecutive days off to explore the area. If needing more hours, we could consider 5 days/week and closer to 32 hours/week.
Our campground is in the “old-west” style community of Silt, CO, 17 miles west of the historic mountain town of Glenwood Springs. The area is known for the historic hot springs, mountain jeep trails, fishing, hiking, biking, and river rafting/floating. Set right along the banks of the mighty Colorado River, our campground is a great base camp to see the diversity of landscapes Colorado has to offer. Our campground is newer to the KOA system, it was built brand new in 2015, we have been enjoying its growth and all it has to offer our guests-come take a look for yourself!
