  • Compensation/Benefits

    Each individual will get paid for all hours worked, starting at $11/hour, with an option of a raise after three months. There is a $75.00 site charge that you will be responsible for paying monthly while you are here. The site consist of 30/50 amp with water, sewer, cable, and Wi-Fi included. You will get discounts in the store and on propane and receive quarters to do your laundry.

Job Description

The Savannah South KOA is in need of a couple with prior experience in Kampsight/K2, Guest Services, and Making it GREAT ASAP! Will need to work part-time/full-time 25-30 hours per week 4 days/nights a week opening or closing the store/front desk and guest services/maintenance. Working weekends is a must. Our store is open from 8AM-8PM daily; 8AM-9PM Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.

Maintenance/Guest Services includes opening/closing pool and pool maintenance (opens April 15th – closes November 1st), light cleaning with wiping down laundry room and moping the floors, trash collection, grounds keeping, taking fire pits and firewood to campsites, dispensing of propane, escort guests to their site, general maintenance and repairs and other duties as assigned. Ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, push, pull, occasional lifting (up to 50lbs), occasional digging, raking, shoveling, mopping, etc.

Store/Registration will include registering and assisting guests, dusting and wiping down the shelves in the store, keeping the counters neat and organized, stocking store shelves, selling trolley tickets, get daily reports ready for next day, and any other tasks as assigned.

Some days might be asked to assist with light housekeeping and/or Saturday morning breakfast.

We are looking for a couple with enthusiasm and upbeat personalities who have great customer service skills. The ability to work with guests and coworkers (as a team) in a professional manner is essential and self-motivation is a must.
