    1) Escort campers to their site.
    2) Maintain upkeep of the campground.
    3) Provide superior customer service by being attentive, responsive, and helpful to guest’s needs.

  • Compensation/Benefits 

    Schedule responsibility
    + The position will provide 2 days off per week with a spouse; working 30 to 40 hours per week with normal daily hours from 9am to 5pm or 2pm to 8pm.
    + This position would run from April 1st or May 1st, 2024 to Nov. 1st, 2024 or longer .(Start and End dates are flexible)
    Compensation/Benefits*
    • No charge to stay at our campground.
    • Your site is a full hook-up back-in 50-amp site.
    • You will pay $50 for electricity on the 1st of the month,
    • 10% discount on all general merchandise in the convenience store.
    • Propane at cost.
    • $12.00 per hour
    • Access to all KOA amenities.

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the campground buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
• Perform basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, and maintenance to campground buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds as directed by the Campground Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor, or the owner(s).
• Implement daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs as instituted by the Campground Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor or the owner(s), including the pool/spa, lawn mowing, weed eating, landscaping, garbage pick-up, propane pumping, game machine, laundry servicing, and various other campground equipment upkeep.
• Comply with all KOA, federal, state, and local safety programs by adhering to established guidelines in the operation and storage of various equipment, tools, and chemicals, ensuring your safety, as well as that of fellow staff and campground customers.
• Provide superior customer service by being attentive, responsive, and helpful to guest’s needs. Report all customer problems, requests or complaints to the Campground Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor, or the owner(s).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Long periods of standing
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb.
• Requires the use of hands/fingers to handle or feel.
• Able to travel by auto.
• Able to work inside and outdoors frequently and in various climates.
