  • Responsibilities

    • Must be willing to work at heights of 15’ (4.6m) or more for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to insert and remove both self and guests into and out of the continuous belay track.
    • Ability to understand and use a harness properly.
    • Must be able to outfit all participants by choosing the correct size harness and make the needed
    adjustments to fit their body.
    • Demonstrate complete understanding of harness components.
    • Knowledge and ability to inspect all safety equipment and understand when something is unsafe.
    • Follow all participant rules and perform their duties without restrictions for the safety of all
    parties involved.
    • Properly attach the belay to a participant’s harness, make correct adjustments in the length
    of the belay and consistently inspect the continuous belay assembly for any damage or
    deformation.
    • Monitor all participants on and off the course.
    • Use competence to assess the difference between a medical emergency and non-emergency
    incident for purposes of the emergency take down procedures.
    • Monitor all participants on the course and immediately stop any unsafe behavior.
    • Capability and understanding to assist frightened participants.
    • Express appropriate behavior towards customers and guests.
    • Outfit zip line guests with a properly fitted harness and helmet, trolley, and all other gear
    • Give clear instructions and explanations as to the proper usage and function of the equipment

  • Compensation/Benefits

    As a Workamper Ropes Course Supervisor you will have a $16.00 per hour regular pay and all of the other benefits of a Workamper.

Job Description

The Ropes Course/ Zip Line Facilitator position ensures the safety of all guests participating in the Frontier
Town Ropes Course and Zip Line as well as the individuals observing. During non-ropes course/ zip line
operational times employees will be assisting with Frontier Town Water Park operations. Work is
performed under the general supervision of Attractions Management.

As the Ropes Course/ Zip Line Facilitator, you are safety minded and focused, with a strong attention to
detail. Work well under pressure and under high stress situations. You will need to be alert, stay focused
on task for long periods. You posess excellent communication skills
