  • Responsibilities 

    Available Roles

    Office Position

    • Target 20 hours/week

    • Up to 30 hours/week possible with other duties

    • Duties include guest check-ins, phone and reservation support, activities, food handling, and store operations

    Camp Host/Housekeeping Position

    • Around 24 hours/week, more hours possible, fewer hours possible

    • Optional add-on: light landscaping and site maintenance

  • Compensation/Benefits 

    Compensation and Benefits

    • $10/hour foe every hour worked plus free FHU site

    • Additional $1/hour bonus after completing 6-month commitment

    • Full Hook-Up site (includes WiFi and electric up to $100/month)

    • 20% discount in the camp store

    • 20% Friends & Family discount on campground stays

Location: Port Lavaca / Matagorda Bay KOA Holiday – Port Lavaca, TX
Season: Summer 2026 (Fall/Winter applicants must complete one summer season)
Start Date: ASAP
Open To: Individuals or couples

We are currently hiring for the 2026 summer season at our waterfront campground on the Texas Gulf Coast. Positions are available for either a couple or two solo work campers. We are hiring immediately and require that any fall/winter applicants complete at least one summer season prior.
