  • Responsibilities 
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, cabins, RV sites, and campground facilities
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and basic mechanical systems
    • Mow lawns, trim trees/shrubs, clear debris/trash, and maintain landscaping
    • Ensure fire pits, picnic areas, and common spaces are clean and safe
    • Monitor and maintain water, septic, and waste systems
    • Maintain and operate tools, equipment, and small machinery (e.g., lawn mowers, chainsaws, power tools)
    • Inspect and repair campground amenities like playgrounds, signage, and utility hookups
    • Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and safety concerns; provide superior customer service by being attentive, respectful, and helpful to guests
    • Assist in seasonal opening and closing duties (e.g., winterization, water line flushing)
    • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
    • Follow safety procedures and ensure the campground is compliant with all regulations
    • Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time
  • Compensation/Benefits 
    • Hourly Wage starting at $18.35 – all hours paid
    • RV site provided for $200/month and 50% refundable with completion of seasonal contract
    • Free staff laundry, 25% employee store discount, discounted propane 
    • Employment Dates: April 2026 – October 2026, could be somewhat flexible

The Flagstaff KOA is seeking a dependable and skilled Campground Maintenance Technician for the summer of 2026. This role is essential in keeping our campground safe, functional, and enjoyable for guests. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for general upkeep, repairs, groundskeeping, and assisting with infrastructure maintenance across the property. Couples are preferred as we have recreation, front desk, and housekeeping opportunities available as well.
