    Daily upkeep of the property and cleaning of property grounds
    Landscaping includes raking and watering plants/trees
    Light mowing
    Cleaning cabins and bathrooms
    Night security after the office is closed
    Able to pick up 50 lbs
    Garbage pickup daily
    Any beginner’s electrical experience is a plus.

  • Compensation/Benefits

    The pay rate is $14hr and $150 for the site

Job Description

Must be able to smile and assist our guests to maintain our camper satisfaction recognition of a “friendly staff.”  There is always a significant project that improves the campground and work kampers can identify they made a difference during the season.

     The expertise needed on the team is cleaning of the two Deluxe and six camping cabins, the central restrooms, and the pool deck and patio areas. Approximately 20 – 30 hours will be needed for the cleaning. Additional hours would be available depending on the skills and interest of the work kamper(s).  These hours may be for outside mowing, landscaping, general cleaning and maintenance, store and registration, or supervising the rental bikes and other recreational activities. This is a great opportunity for flexible, new Work Kampers to learn from experienced Work Kampers.

    The campground is located just outside metro Minneapolis with lots of trees and countryside.  Plenty of attractions to visit and things to do on days off including museums, Major League Baseball, Professional Women’s Basketball, the world-class Mall of America, and Minnesota’s largest candy store all within 35 miles of the campground  Total hours to be worked are negotiable from 30-40hrs/week/couple.
