Job Description
Located about 45 minutes from Detroit, 30 minutes from Ann Arbor, and 20 minutes from Toledo we are smack dab in the middle of all the festivals, activities, stores, and restaurants the area has to offer but far enough away that you can enjoy nature and not the noises of the city.
This is a family focused campground with many guests having been coming here for over 30 years. We put emphasis on activities and themed weekends which draws in a large crowd, especially on weekends. We are currently in the process of building our brand new epicenter of fun that will include 2 brand new pools and a splash pad as well as a large building to house multiple guest accommodations which we are expecting will drive reservations through the roof resulting in a very busy summer.
We are looking for an energetic and experienced (2 years+) housekeeper to manage our busy housekeeping department. We’re looking for a self-starter to manage the cleaning of restrooms, cabins (including deluxe cabins), and other buildings throughout the campground. You will be responsible for pointing your housekeeping staff in the right direction and assigning the staff to duties which will maximize efficiency. The ability to organize and manage staff is a big part of this job and while this is a supervisor roll, you shouldn’t be afraid to get a little dirty while getting things clean. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand on your feet for multiple hours a day.
