  • Responsibilities 

    Responsibilities:
    • General housekeeping duties according to provided checklists.
    • Daily, weekly & monthly cleaning programs for specific buildings & facilities as instructed.
    • Use appropriate cleaning chemicals on appropriate items as trained. Must use appropriate safety measures.
    • Be aware of blood borne pathogen procedures.
    • Communicate with owners/supervisor on cabin status.
    • Wash, dry, & fold cabin linens & towels & prepare cabin baskets with supplies.
    • Communicate supply needs, damaged items within all buildings or premises or other issues immediately with the owner(s)/supervisor.
    • Report all customer problems, requests or complaints to your supervisor or owner(s) & follow-up to resolve the issue if possible.
    • Bring all lost & found items to the registration office with cabin number & date on them.
    • Provide fill-in help for Store/Registration, RV site cleaning, RV Park restroom/shower cleaning, emptying trash & recycle bins.
    • Handle all guest issues with respect by listening and acknowledging their concern.

  • Compensation/Benefits 

    Wages: $14.50/Hr.
    The remote location of our facility requires staff to live onsite.
    If you have your own RV: A full hookup RV site at no cost & paid utilities as an additional employee benefit.
    If you DON’T have an RV: A limited amount of on-site living quarters are available at no cost with utilities paid as an additional employee benefit.
    Staff accommodations include a travel trailer with full bed, kitchen, and RV bathroom.

    There is also a separate staff-only bathroom/shower & laundry room.
    Season-end bonus: $0.50 per hour worked bonus for completing your agreed-upon work season. The bonus rate is increased for returning staff

    • Free Use of rental kayaks, canoes, paddle boards or pedal boats during off hours (evening or days off – when available)
    • Free Use of rental motorized aluminum fishing boats during off-hours (evening or days off – when available)

Job Description

Full Time Position: 30-40 Hrs./Wk.
2 Days Off Per Week – Consecutive Planned but not Guaranteed
Working Couples Days Off Will Coincide
A blended position. Approximately 50-60% relates to housekeeping with remainder as support for other campground support activities & other assigned duties.
Housekeeping responsibilities include timely, thorough & consistent cleaning & turn-over of cabins.

Campground support can include: store/registration, cleaning RV sites between guests, cleaning of RV Park restrooms, emptying trash and recycle containers, campground activities (ice cream social & kids crafts) or other assigned duties as needed.
In both roles, the team member is to provide excellent and friendly guest service by being attentive, responsive and helpful to all guests needs.
