Camping Cabins
Conduct detailed cleaning of 5 camping cabins to ensure a comfortable and hygienic stay for guests.
Attend to bedding, surfaces, and amenities to meet the highest standards of cleanliness.

Men’s & Women’s Bath Houses:
Perform regular cleaning task of all 4 bath houses, including sanitary facilities, toilets, showers, and common areas – maintaining cleanliness and
orderliness.
Monitor and replenish toiletries to uphold guest satisfaction.
Address any cleanliness-related concerns promptly.

Laundry/Game Building:
Undertake the daily upkeep of the laundry/game building, ensuring a neat and organized space.
Monitor and manage laundry facilities, ensuring they are operational and guest-ready.
Maintain cleanliness in the game area and handle any necessary tidying.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
Strong communication skills to address any guest-related concerns.
Oversee the stock of cleaning products to guarantee their availability for fulfilling your job responsibilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 15 pounds without assistance.
Capable of working both indoors and outdoors frequently, adjusting to various climates.
Ability to move safely over uneven terrain.
Proficient use of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects.
Periods of standing, bending, kneeling, and walking are integral to the role.

We offer a competitive compensation package for dedicated individuals joining our team at Belvidere East KOA:

HOURLY RATE: $13.00 for all hours worked.
Payroll Payments are distributed on the 1st and 15th of each month.

Work Schedule:
Weekly Hours: Our standard work week is a max of 20 hours.
Work Days: We implement a schedule of 4 work days followed by 2 consecutive days off. This allows for variation in days off during the month.

Accommodation: Enjoy a full hook-up pull thru site with internet during your employment.
Store Discounts: Benefit from a 20% discount on propane, and all items in the store and cafe (except beer & wine).
Uniform and Name Tag: Receive free uniform shirts and a name tag.
Attractions Card: We provide a Badland/Black Hills attractions card that will grant free or discounted entrance fees.
Transportation: Each work camper couple will be provided with a golf cart for usage during employment.

Arrival and Orientation:
We ask our Work campers to arrive up to two weeks before the official start date, with the site provided free of charge.
The first week is to be used as an acclimation time South Dakota. Use this time to acclimate to the Mountain time zone, explore the area, stock up on supplies, and unwind at the campground. The second week we slow begin introductions to the campground and the jobs.

Leisure Time:
Local Attractions: Explore nearby tourist attractions within half a mile.
Outdoor Activities: Engage in activities like kayaking, hiking in the Badlands, and fishing in local lakes.
Wildlife and Scenery: Experience the presence of local wildlife and enjoy a serene night sky free from light pollution.
