Job Description

Icon award winner Perry KOA Holiday (Perry, Florida) is looking for a housekeeper to start August 1, be on-site by July 30.  Three-day schedule of Saturday through Monday, 9 – 2, start time flexible by a half hour.  Normal work day consists of cleaning two half baths at pool, guest laundry (4 washers/4 dryers), bathhouse (5 individual restrooms with showers plus 1 ADA restroom as needed), check or turn cabins with linens and baths, clubhouse room, fitness room, wash/dry/fold bedding/towels as needed.  Must be able to be on your feet for the shift, bend, pick up and move boxes of paper towels/toilet paper/cleaning supplies from office to housekeeping area.  Operate golf cart, battery powered leaf blower, climb small ladder to change a light bulbs and smoke detector batteries also required.

Perry KOA is 20 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico and an hour from Tallahassee.  Local activities are fishing, kayaking, birding, state festivals at the Florida Forest Capital State Park (1/2 mile up the road).  Many springs and natural areas to explore within one hour’s drive.   Local grocery stores, restaurants, hardware stores, small shops and an awesome bookstore within 5 miles.
