  • Responsibilities

    Duties include the cleaning of bath house, laundry room, game room, tv lounge, rustic cabin and offices.
    Onsite we have one bath house, 5 cottages, 2 deluxe cabins, and 1 rustic log cabin.
    Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
    Remove bedding and count linens in the room, then make beds neatly with fresh sheets and pillowcases. •
    Wash, dry and fold laundry as required.
    Pick up debris from floors and empty trash in wastebaskets.
    Clean mirrors, shelves, dishes, door frames, and furniture.
    Dust all surfaces, vacuum and sweep floors, and arrange furniture properly.
    Sanitize bathrooms, scrub basins, tubs, toilets, and floors with appropriate chemical solutions in accordance with industry standards and company policy while using protective equipment.

  • Compensation/Benefits

    Each Work Kamper will work a minimum of 10 hours/week but can be up to 30 hours during peak.
    Hourly rate after site rental dependent upon experience after site rent hours is covered.
    Pay is 1 week in arrears
    Estimate for site rental is about a total of 20 hours/week (10/work kamper in a pair) for a 30 AMP/Sewer/HD Cable/WiFi site. This is deducted from pay. (starting wage is $14/hr)

    Store and propane discounts are 10%.

    We have great wi-fi here with the ability to stream shows and do video calls.

Job Description

We will take a solo for this position but a partner position is also available.

The campground has won the Presidents and Founders Awards for the last dozen years. A typical review is “Peaceful, clean, friendly, well run campground.” This year we were also named by USA Today as a 10best Campground in America!
Our expectations are that the people hired will be team players who will help to continue that streak of success, enjoy people and animals, and be self-starters.
We are a small park so the individuals will be asked to be able to do different types of jobs. We would like for you to be able to go between housekeeping one day to the front office the next.
We have 40 campsites with one bathhouse, 5 cottages w/baths, one log cabin, and one large deluxe cabin with a bath and a half on 7.5 acres. The ability to lift up to 25 pounds is required.
