Job Description
We are looking for a fun, outgoing couple to work 40 hours a week per person. We need to fill a store/registration position and an outside maintenance/cleaning position. We do schedule you and your partner to work the same days/hours.
Our campground is in beautiful Northeastern New Mexico, just a few miles from the Colorado border. We are at the foot of historic Raton pass. Raton has a population of about 8,000 and its elevation is 6,600 ft.
We are a small campground with about 50 sites. We are the busiest during July and August, but still keep a pretty good pace into October and sometimes even November. Our summer weather is fairly mild – 80-90’s during the day and 50’s every night.
The outside maintenance position is a very busy position. It requires lawn/weed care incl. watering, mowing, weed-eating, etc, site maintenance, cleaning of bathrooms/laundry/kabins, escorting customers to sites – helping them with their hookups, great customer service, any projects needing to be done.
The store position requires registering customers using KOA’s Kampsight K2 system, answering phones, taking reservations, keeping store clean and tidy, sweeping front walkways, watering plants, cleaning restrooms/laundry/kabins, etc., great customer service, friendly, etc
We are looking for someone to begin around May 2022 and go at least through the Labor Day Weekend, preferably through November.
