As a Registration/Store Clerk, YOU are the first person that our guests meet. Genuine enthusiasm and hospitality, strong communication skills, and great customer service skills are key factors in success. Office/Store Workampers must be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast- paced retail environment, talking with guests in person and over the phone, and must demonstrate adequate skills utilizing the computer software.
Job duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Dressing appropriately for the work and the weather while projecting a professional appearance and attitude. Yellow KOA shirts will be provided for your use.
Working together as a combined team with other employees and Owners/Management using an upbeat, can do, attitude that will boost team morale and ultimately the overall satisfaction of our guests. As owners, we strive to recruit individuals who work well with all types of personalities ensuring an overall enjoyable and successful season.
Opening and/or closing the store/registration office including balancing cash drawers to open/close, and preparing various reports.
Maintaining the registration area & store, laundry room, and restrooms in a neat, organized fashion, including dusting & floor cleaning, restocking store, pricing merchandise, replenishing rest-room supplies as needed.
Operating computer software programs to manage reservations, camper check-in, and POS transactions using the KOA K2 system, on our computers.
Answering the telephone: making reservations, answering area questions, etc. From prospective or current campers.
Providing guests with area information, recreational opportunities and answering visitor questions as requested.
obtain certification and pump propane from the dispenser
Delivery of firewood & maintaining general campground cleanliness or other duties
Educating guests on campground courtesies and/or enforcing campground rules when an infraction is observed.
