Front Desk: As part of the daytime front desk team you will be responsible for getting the office/store up and running by adhering to an opening checklist to start. While waiting for guests you’ll probably have some free time on your hands, when not given tasks by management you’ll be expected to have initiative and find stuff to do to keep you busy. Amazing customer service is a must for this position as you are the first experience our guests get when arriving to our campground. Answering phones, relaying messages to other departments, stocking shelves, ringing store purchases, and checking in/out guests are some of the responsibilities you will have.
Maintenance: As part of the daytime maintenance team you will be responsible for getting the campground up and running by adhering to an opening checklist to start. Cleaning camp sites and around the outsides of our cabins, throwing away trash, cleaning grills, and checking the pool/water will be the first thing you do each morning. Once all routine tasks are completed if not given any tasks by management you’ll be expected to have initiative and find things to do to keep you busy. Throughout your shift you’ll be pulled away from what you’re doing to do tasks like delivering firewood, pumping propane, fixing breakers when needed, escorting campers to their sites, and other miscellaneous tasks that present themselves. The willingness to help and amazing customer service is a must for this position as you will be encountering many guests throughout the day and answering many radio calls from the office.
