    Light cleaning in the store and around the campground to include picking up micro trash when seen.

    Greeting all guests with pleasant attitudes upon arrival and during their stay.

  • Compensation/Benefits 

    Each individual will get paid for all hours worked, starting at $12 an hour.  There will be no site charge while you are working on the campground.  The site consists of 30/50 amp back in site with water, sewer, cable, and WI-FI included.  You will also receive free propane and receive quarters to do your laundry.

Job Description

The Harrisonburg/Shenandoah Valley KOA is in need of a couple with prior experience in Kampsight/K2, Guest Services.  Will need to work a minimum of 32 hours a week 4-5 days/nights a week opening or closing the store/front desk and guest services/maintenance/landscaping.  Working weekends is a requirement.  Our store is open 9 am-8pm daily from Memorial Day weekend through October 31.

Maintenance/Landscaping includes opening/closing pool and pool maintenance, cleaning of Men’s bath house, trash collection, grounds keeping, cleaning sites, dispensing of propane, escorting guests to their site, general maintenance and repairs, weed eating and grass cutting and other job duties as assigned. Ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, push, pull, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, occasional digging, raking, shoveling, mopping etc.

Store/Registration/Part time Housekeeping will include registering and assisting guests, dusting and wiping down the shelves in the store, keeping the counters neat and organized, restocking store shelves, cleaning women’s bath house, Cleaning Camping Cabins and lodges as required by KOA.

We are looking for a couple with enthusiasm and upbeat personalities who have great customer service skills.  The ability to work with guests and coworkers (as a team) in a professional manner is essential and self motivation is a must.
