  • Responsibilities 

    INSIDE: REGISTRATION/STORE: Minimum job duties
    1. Daily phone and in person reservations. Check in as required.
    2. Stock retail store and assist customers as needed, inclusive of checkout.
    3. Clean the store, restrooms, and laundry room as needed
    4. During slower times of day, assist with site escort.
    5. Complete daily cashiers summary and other pertinent daily reporting.
    6. Assist with in store food service if necessary.
    7. Provide our guests with exemplary customer service and an enjoyable experience.
    OUTSIDE: MAINTENANCE/ESCORT:
    1. Greet our guests upon arrival and provide an escort to the site.
    2. Escort our guests to their respective site and assist them as needed in getting properly parked and set up to hook up as needed. Also discuss with guest the best exit strategy for them when they go to depart the park via an exit route. Clean sites and fire pits between guest stays.
    3. Assist with landscaping and outside maintenance as needed, inclusive of trimming trees, mowing if needed, weed whacking if needed, Light plumbing, carpentry and electrical may be required. Painting and repairing of site equipment as needed. Clean cabins and restrooms as needed.
    4. Assist with general pool cleaning as needed, with the guidance of our on site pool operator.
    5. Deliver firewood or store items if requested by our customer.
    6.Security as needed throughout the shift. Usually consists of driving the campground to insure rules are being followed as far as parking, noise, etc.
    7. Pump propane into customers propane tanks or motorhome.

  • Compensation/Benefits 

    In exchange for 32 hours of work per person per week each. (Shifts are worked together)
    More hours may be available for additional pay.
    You will have Three days off each week to explore the area. Compensation includes A full hookup Site (with electric, sewer, water, Cable TV and Wifi), $12.00 A week Laundry Allowance per couple, All socials are free to you (pancake breakfast and ice cream socials, etc.
    After completion of each two week pay period we will pay $1280.00 per couple ($640.00 each), totaling 2560 per couple per month. Scheduled payments are the 5th and 20th of the month for hours worked the previous two weeks. Additional hours agreed upon and worked will be paid.

Take phone reservations and complete camper registrations using KOA’s KAMPSIGHT program in a pleasant and professional manner. Help all camping guests with any problems that may arise. Housekeeping and cleaning of offices, cabins and restrooms as needed. Help with scheduled Food Services(set-up, serving, etc.)(pizza and quick baked items as needed.) Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
OUTSIDE: MAINTENANCE/ESCORT:
Help maintain campground equipment, sites, landscaping, buildings and supplies as assigned, including involvement with capital improvements as needed on grounds and equipment. Previous building and or grounds maintenance preferred. Pump propane into cylinders and /or RV’s in a safe manner as needed. Help with scheduled Food Services (set-up, serving, etc.) (pizza and quick baked items) as needed. Escort campers to site upon completion of registration. Help Campers as needed. Housekeeping and cleaning of offices, cabins and restrooms as needed. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. for maintenance.
