  • Responsibilities

    Effectively communicates with Guests and other departments guests’ needs. Escorts guests to accommodations, pumps propane, delivers fire wood and messages, picks up trash, bags ice, stocks cooler and fills in for retail representative as needed. Informs Guest of happenings around the Resort

  • Compensation/Benefits

    Mt Rushmore KOA Resort offers 30/50 amp electric, water and sewer sites to our staff with campers at a nominal weekly fee. Pets are allowed while adhering to the KOA Pet restrictions. Sites are within our work camper community separate from Guest sites.
    Dormitory housing for a nominal weekly fee is also available. No Pets allowed. Rooms are equipped with twin size bunk beds. Each dorm includes a full kitchen stocked with basic cooking and eating utensils.
    Store and Propane discounts and discounts at Property Vendors establishment are available. Staff is encourage to participate in Complimentary Resort activities, such as musical entertainment, movies, waterslide, pools, mini-golf, basketball, Rodeos and Polkapoolza. Our staff is presented with a Black Hills and Badlands VIP pass which entitles holder to free or discounted admission to many area attractions.

Nestled at the foot of the Black Elk Wilderness in the Beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota our KOA Resort is a popular vacation destination. Our family resort caters to vacations built on family fun and creating memories with outdoor activities and amenities for all travelers and staff. Our Staff works 40 hours per week in a fast paced environment and has 2 days off to relax, enjoy our Resort and explore the gorgeous area.
