  • Responsibilities

    We love to cross train here. This helps everyone out as we move through the season. While you may have your main job, it is not uncommon to have a need to step in where needed periodically. We do our very best to make sure everyone is in a place they shine! We understand that not everyone can do everything or has all the skills needed, but we are willing to train and help you grow. If you do have the already needed skills, that’s a bonus! Some responsibilities may include Guest Services (site maintenance and escorting guests to sites) or grounds (making sure the campground is in tip top shape. Or you may be doing housekeeping (we pride ourselves on a clean and healthy campground) or Front Desk (working directly with guests booking reservations or checking them in and helping them with store purchases). We love to make sure our guests are greeted with a smile and the warm welcoming southern charm they deserve!

  • Compensation/Benefits

    We do ask for 20 hours/week for your site, but that can be divided amongst the team on that site. Every hour worked past that 20 hours/week is paid. We have a FHU site waiting for you! You will also get a laundry allowance, employee discount on store items, propane at cost, and of course your uniforms are provided. Additional benefits may apply as we go through the season. We also have monthly get-togethers for dinner! Plus, you get to be part of a fun and energetic team that is like family!

Job Description

Hello from the Asheville West KOA! We are currently looking for several workamping couples to join our KOA family this 2024 camping season. (April to end of Oct.) We are a busy campground centrally located to the Asheville area attractions, like the Biltmore and close to Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountain National Park plus much, much more! We are looking for people who love people and have a passion for bringing the joy of making camping memories back to families! We have openings across the board and would love to add your talent and charm to our team.  We do cross train for a well-rounded team but will put you in a position where you will shine! We do ask for at least 20 hours/week for site but do compensate for hours worked past that. Some jobs may require lifting (like firewood and trash bags or moving an occasional picnic table for example. We do allow for two to three days off to explore the area or just relax! We are fast paced, but as a team we make it a fun time! Are you ready for the adventure? We can’t wait to hear from you and welcome you to our team!
