Job Description
Seasonal Camp Host Couples Wanted – Montpelier Creek Journey KOA
📍 Montpelier, Idaho | 🗓 Late April through October
Montpelier Creek Journey KOA is seeking two dependable camp-host couples for our seasonal operating period (end of April through October).
This is a hands-on opportunity for couples who enjoy working with people, being outdoors, and helping maintain a fun, welcoming campground environment.
🏡 Housing
• Couples must have their own RV
• One couple may have the opportunity to live in the apartment above the store
• Campsite provided as part of compensation
🛠️ Positions & Duties May Include
Responsibilities will be shared between couples based on strengths and experience:
• Handyman / Maintenance (at least one couple needed)
– Light electrical and plumbing
– Basic carpentry and repairs
– General upkeep and troubleshooting
• Front Desk & Guest Services
– Check-ins/check-outs
– Phones and reservations
– Guest relations and problem solving
– Using K2 Reservation Software
• Housekeeping
– Cleaning cabins, bathrooms, and common areas
• Outside Maintenance
– Groundskeeping, trash, landscaping, site upkeep
• Store, Recreation & General Support
– Store assistance
– Recreation and guest activities
– General campground operations
• Light Security / Evening Presence
– After-hours guest support
– Helping ensure a safe, quiet campground
⏰ Schedule
• Approximately 30–40 hours per week per couple
• Flexible scheduling depending on season and campground needs
💰 Compensation
• Portion of compensation applied toward campsite / housing
• Remaining wages paid bi-weekly
• Pay based on experience and responsibilities
✅ Ideal Candidates
• Friendly, reliable, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working with the public
• Maintenance skills strongly preferred for at least one couple
• Able to work independently and as a team
• Prior campground, hospitality, or maintenance experience a plus
