About The Role:
We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and detail oriented work camper couple to join our South Florida team. This position is ideal for a 2-person team where one partner primarily focuses on housekeeping and guest accommodations, and the other focuses on campground maintenance, groundskeeping, and escorting guest arrivals to sites. Together, you will maintain KOA standards and deliver top-tier guest experiences.
Working in South Florida offers great year-round weather, but candidates must be comfortable adapting to changing outdoor weather conditions including, heat, humidity, and rain.
Housekeeping & Facilities:
- perform thorough daily turnover and deep cleaning of campground cabins, deluxe units, bathhouses, and laundry facilities.
- Ensure restrooms and public areas remain clean, sanitized, and fully stocked throughout the day.
- Pay close attention to detail (spotless mirrors, clean linens, floors swept and mopped, and trash removal.
- Monitory inventory levels and report damage and maintenance needs.
Maintenance, escort, & site prep:
Warmly welcome arriving campers and safely escort RVs to their assigned campsites.
Campsite Turnover:
Inspect and clean campsite pads, tables & chairs, grills and fire rings immediately following guest check-outs so sites are pristine and ready for new arrivals.
Grounds & Repairs:
Perform general groundskeeping (debris removal, basic landscaping) and minor maintenance repairs (plumbing, electrical, hardware).
Equipment Care:
Maintain equipment, tools, and golf carts in clean working condition.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Physical ability:
Must be detail oriented and able to comfortably lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stand, and work on your feet.
Weather Adaptability:
Comfortable working outdoors in South Florida's ever-changing weather conditions.
Customer Service:
Friendly, welcoming demeanor when escorting guests and answering campground questions.
RV Living:
Must own and live in a self-contained RV/camper in good condition.
Schedule:
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak check-in times.
