Mature, responsible couple is needed at Estes Park KOA Campground for Summer 2027.
Be onsite April 23 or 24th, 2027. Orientation week. Campground opens May 1st- October 15th. You may depart on October 15th around noon.
Duties for Store/Registration: Open the store in a timely manner, count drawer and make coffee (very important!) Prepare maps and car tags, determine arrivals and departures reports; manage people in the store making purchases and charge to site purchases, communicate with your partner/spouse on the radio as well as housekeeping staff. Field phone calls and make reservations. Keep up with coffee!
Answer questions regarding timed entry system to Rocky Mountain National Park. Prepare cabin list for late arrivals. ;keep store clean by dusting and stocking when possible. Count drawer and secure store.
Grounds/Maintenance position requires a person to be organized and able to follow a list. This person, checks sites, prepares sites for arrival including raking; cleans sites after departures. This person fills propane tanks on RV's and in cylinders ; uses honey wagon to pump from tent bathhouse to main sewer drain. Sometimes this person will deliver ice and firewood when there is no fire ban in Colorado.
Grounds/maintenance people use their basic skills to fix and repair sink faucets, toilets, rewire lamps, use table saw, stain and paint when there is time to do so. The grounds person is a first contact person for campers. He is often asked about where to dine; how to get to downtown; and other small questions. The grounds person escourts ALL RV campers to their sites and "talks" them into the spot. All of our sites are full hook up. However people need assistance to back into the site.
Both Grounds/Maintenace and Store/Registration positions require that both people are able to work at 7,522 feet above sea level. Drink lots of water, take oxygen while getting acclimated

Pay for all hours worked. 25-33 hours per week. Pay is given via direct deposit every other week.
Minimum wage $15.61 is projected to be minimum wage in 2027. Whatever the minimum wage is determined to be is the wage per hour.

About Estes Park / Rocky Mountain National Park KOA Holiday
This campground is suited for small RVs (25 ft or less works best). It also offers Tent Sites, Camping Cabins and Deluxe Cabins (private bath, linens, kitchen and extras). In peak season, enjoy pancake breakfasts, chapel services, ice cream socials and barrel train rides. The camp store is stocked with supplies and souvenirs. During peak season, a free shuttle stops at the KOA entrance, and it will take you to the Estes Park Visitor Center. You’ll find a horseback-riding stable and a 4×4 rental shop next door to the campground. Across the street, Estes Park Mountain Shop rents bicycles, fishing gear and clothing. Lake Estes Marina rents pontoon boats, paddleboats, paddleboards, four-wheel bicycles, canoes and kayaks. This is the KOA closest to the east entrances of Rocky Mountain National Park.
