The Gaylord KOA is looking for motivated couples who want to join our team for the summer of 2027. Located in beautiful 'Up North' Michigan right off I75, the campground is located on 60 wooded acres and close to Mackinac Island, Traverse City, Petosky and Grayling.
Duties will include front desk, mowing, cleaning cabins and the bath house, as well as light maintenance. Wrestling alligators is optional, but you will need to escort guests to their sites and wrestle the occasional sewer hose.
We are very team focused and pride ourselves on creating a fun and enjoyable work environment. You will work side by side with the owners on a daily basis. Candidates will typically work 25-38 hours (each person) per week depending on the time of summer.
Note: Singles will be considered.

Working at our campground:
We are a family run campground and you will be working side by side with the owners to create the best possible guest experience. The Gaylord KOA consistently maintains a high NPS with many repeat guests. We typically hire work campers who are flexible with where they will be assigned based on particular needs of the day. Job duties typically include front desk, grounds (mowing, maintenance and escorts) and cleaning cabins and the bath house. We will definitely train, so couples new to the lifestyle are encouraged to apply as well as seasoned couples - we will also consider singles. Many work campers choose to return for future seasons, which speaks to the favorable working environment. Ideal candidates will work 25-38 hours per week (per person) with a minimum of 2 days off per week. We do ensure that couples get the same days off!
