    Candidate Requirements

    • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs without assistance.
    • Comfort working outdoors in all weather (rain, heat, cool mornings, etc.).
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
    • Ability to safely navigate uneven terrain.
    • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, organized spaces.
    • Basic customer service skills when interacting with guests.
    • Willingness to learn campground processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
    • Commitment to the full seasonal schedule.
  • Compensation/Benefits 

    Commitments

      • Seasonal Position: May – September
      • Hours: 21–35 hours per week ( additional hours may be required)
      • Team Structure: 2 team members per week; 4 total rotating staff
      • Schedule:  7 days a week, every other week
      • Compensation: Competitive hourly wage (customize if needed)

Job Description

Team Member Responsibilities

Grounds Team Members are expected to perform a variety of duties across the property, including but not limited to:

Grounds & Property Maintenance

  • Perform daily site checks, including cleaning firepits, removing trash, and ensuring sites are guest-ready.
  • Maintain PawPens, including cleaning, trash removal, trimming/weedeating, and general upkeep.
  • Complete mowing, trimming, and lawn care across assigned areas.
  • Tend to flowers, landscaping beds, and seasonal plant care.
  • Stock and deliver firewood to designated areas or guests.
  • Support routine maintenance tasks, such as minor repairs, cleaning equipment, or assisting the maintenance lead as needed.
  • Provide honeywagon service when required (training provided).

General Support

  • Assist other teams (cleaning, guest services, activities) when needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment in all public outdoor areas.
  • Use campground tools, equipment, and communication systems responsibly (training provided).
  • Follow all safety protocols and operational standards.
  • Support management and fellow team members by completing tasks promptly and reliably.
