  • Responsibilities 

    A couple needs to enjoy working together to clean and/or prepare cabins for rental as well as our three restroom areas on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with occasional help on Sundays and/or Mondays after a busy weekend. Washing cabins linens may be needed using our campground machines. Assist guests as needed with additional items for cabin rentals. This may require a call after normal working hours.

    Light maintenance may include pumping propane, driving the golf cart on the walking trail to make sure it is safe and free of downed branches and garbage, cleaning firepits and grills, cleaning the game room and playground areas are added jobs. Some painting and other duties may be requested or needed.

  • Compensation/Benefits 

    In exchange for 15-17 hours per week per person (couple) you get a full hookup site with cable TV, laundry monies and propane at cost. There is no per hourly pay! Couples will have the same time off.

Due to health issues, we are looking for a couple (sorry no singles at this time) that enjoy working with each other, and, most importantly, with occasional guest interaction. We like rookies too! We are a small, older campground so you will get experience in all campground housekeeping as well as light maintenance.

Housekeeping responsibilities include cleaning/prepping cabins and cleaning restrooms on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (main a-frame men’s and women’s)(Ada restroom)(small toilet/sink only pavilion restroom near tent area) as well as cleaning our game room.

Light maintenance responsibilities include dispensing propane, cleaning firepits, checking/ensuring safe walking trail and others chores as may be assigned.  Occasional  help may be needed on Sundays and/or Mondays after busy cabin weekends. You may be asked to run occasional weekend events like hot wheel races or ice cream socials!

We are located halfway between Charlotte NC and Atlanta GA on I-85 and about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes from the Appalachian Mountains and Blue Ridge Parkway.
