Work Experience

  • 2015 - Present
San Diego County Parks and Recreation

    Camp Host/Maintenence

I’ve been the only person caring for Vallecito County Park.
It’s an isolated 52 site primitive campground in the Southern California desert. There are 22 tent sites, 22 RV sites, and 8 equestrian sites.
I did everything from cleaning bathrooms, trimming brush and trees, picking up trash, clean campsites after campers leave, and general basic carpentry and plumbing skills.
I have the county reservation system on my phone and checked in campers that had reservations and registered drop-in campers.
Rangers would drop in twice a week to pick up the fees I collected and drop off supplies.
I’m a reliable worker that doesn’t need to be supervised.
Do an online search for “Vallecito County Park Reviews”. Any reviews on the park from 2016 to present are from campers that have stayed here.
