    Truancy Officer & Emergency Management Assistant

    I am the sole truancy officer for Van Buren County, Michigan. I investigate and case manage all truancy files , which average 170 per school year. I am also a core member of the district’s behavioral threat assessment team, I am a state instructor for behavioral threat assessments using the NTAC Secret Service model. I also teach active shooter response training, CPR/AED/First Aid, adn assist with school emergency drills throughout the year.

    Seasonal Park Worker

    I worked as a summer worker at the Rifle River Recreational area and campground in Lupton, MI. I worked the contact station and assisted campers with registration, reservations, firewood and recreational pass sales, information about the park and area, and any customer service issues. I cleaned bathrooms, day use areas, cabins, and campsites. I also assisted the rangers with tasks when needed and conducted patrols throughout the almost 5000 acre park.
