Campground Management

We currently work as the managers at the Fort Pierce West KOA campground in Fort Pierce, FL. We have been employed here since December 12, 2021. Allen is outside campground manager currently working all positions there that includes reservations, retail, outside maintenance, bringing RVs to their sites. Penny is the office manager working in reservations and retail ordering and stocking, stock pricing and quickbook mapping,  HR, including staffing, scheduling and payroll, hiring lawn care service, pest treatment, maintaining our website, responding to guest reviews and anything else that needs to be done. Monitoring our K2 program to make sure what we are selling online matches our campground as far as site management. Tracking deposits for the store, laundry, and sites. 

Campground Management

Allen has worked as the outside campground manager at the Sioux Falls, summer of 2019 and 2020, SD KOA and farmed with his family for the past 6 years during the summer.

Penny worked as the office/store manager at the Sioux Falls, SD KOA summer 2019 and 2020. Penny is experienced with the KOA K2 program, campground manager program and rez expert and ROZ program, word docs,etc making reservations, store clerk, lawn maintenance, laundry, housekeeping and activities.

General RV Workamping

Our previous workcamping employment includes Jolly Roger RV Resort in Marathon, FL. summer 2021, the winter of 2013-2015 prior to that we worked at the Wisconsin Dells KOA during the summer.  We are quick learners and self starters. We have been working in all aspects of operating a campground since 2010.
We have worked as assistant managers at Miami Everglades Resort before that. We oversaw the staff. Maintained the inventory of the convenience store there. We helped the managers in daily operations of running the park such as any repairs that needed to be done and helped resolve any guest related issues.
Allen is experienced in reservations,  retail, maintenance and using his mechanical skills, lawn maintenance, rig escorting,  general outdoor duties(electrical and plumbing repairs,) housekeeping. He has also done golf cart repair, pool maintenance and knowledgeable in repairing commercial Maytag washing machines and dryers. He is experienced in operating tractors, skid steers, etc.
Penny is experienced with the KOA K2 program, campground manager program and rez expert and ROZ program, word docs,etc making reservations, store clerk, lawn maintenance, laundry, housekeeping and activities.
We  worked for Amazon.com in Campbellsville,KY for their workcamping program fall of 2010. We were in the quality control and picking departments.
We worked at a campground in Pennsylvania.  We performed mulitple jobs, such as dirt work and operating equipment for landscaping, campgound manager reservation program, retail sales with inventory control  and general outdoor duties. We also have done canoe and kayak rentals with livery service.
We worked  for Amazon.com in Campbellsville, KY for 2011 season. Allen in picking and was a scout for the seasonal campers in the picking department. He was in the top 10 best picking percents. Penny worked in human resources as a recruiting assistant for the seasonal camper program and in the picking department.
