  • Responsibilities 

    The Maintenance Engineer (ME) is responsible for the general maintenance, operation and upkeep of the
    campground buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds. They will commonly work with a team to ensure all
    aspects of the campground are clean, safe, and well-maintained and in good working order. The ME will use
    technical skills to troubleshoot and repair machinery, electrical systems, and other equipment. They also use
    technical skills to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and other documents related to their work.
    The ME will perform general carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing work and install new fixtures,
    equipment, and appliances as needed. They are also responsible for conducting the preventative maintenance
    program, handling guest requests and other work orders as assigned in a safe and efficient manner.

    The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment in support of the housekeeping department at an OAK property. They are to clean all private offices and public common areas
    including the general store, restrooms, and accommodation units while maintaining departmental standards. The
    Housekeeper consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging customer service. Proper maintenance of the
    housekeeping tools and equipment is essential. Housekeepers work as part of a diverse team to meet and exceed
    brand standards.

    The Guest Service Representative (GSR) is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay. They will accommodate campground guests by registering, issuing keys, keeping proper record of occupied sites, making and confirming reservations and collecting payments. The GSR will help maintain a clean, well-stocked and organized store.

  • Compensation/Benefits 

    Compensation includes pay for all hours worked at $14.42 per hour. This may increase to $14.82 as of 1/1/2025. Site rent is $92.30 per pay period for single or $46.15 for a pair (both working) for a FHU site with water, sewer, electric, cable and Wi-Fi. Store and propane discounts are available for workcampers. We provide uniform shirts as needed, black, gray or khaki pants/shorts required.

We are seeking a motivated, flexible and hard-working team for the Summer 2025 season beginning mid April and end dates as late as October 31, 2024.

We have many amenities you can utilize as available including: a catch and release fishing lake, exercise trail, basketball court, jumping pillow, mini golf, bikes, paddle boats, volleyball, sports field, swimming pool, wading pool, laundry, library, gym, playground, horseshoes, conference center, pavilion & gazebo.

All positions require availability of up to 40 hours per week during peak season. Anticipated hours range from 24-40hrs per week based on time of year.
