  • Responsibilities 

    greet and register guests, make reservations for guests via phone/email, ring guests up for grocery/gift store items, stock store/front face etc, print things for guest if needed, clean store (sweep, mop, dust, vacuum runners), clean and check on bathrooms for problems (empty toilet paper or paper towels, full trash, clogged or messy toilet, water leaks), clean 4 dry cabins (no linens), escort campers to their site, deliver ice/firewood, answer questions about local food/attractions or google info for guests, coordinate with the maintenance person on-shift to attend to camper needs or fix problems on campground.

  • Compensation/Benefits 

    This position pays $16/hour. position is 35+hours/week. The RV Site is a full hookup, 50amp site for $500/month. End-of-season bonus is half of rent paid (must stay until at least 9/30). Season is May 15th – October 17th. Start-date and end-date can be flexible but full-time is not guaranteed before Memorial day or after Labor day. We provide KOA logo apparel and name tags and all staff are required to wear uniform and name tag while on duty. We try to schedule couples together unless there is no preference.

Job Description

A camper couple would be a great fit for this position. Our campground has earned a great reputation for three big things: excellent & friendly customer service, new bathrooms that are always very clean, and well-kept grounds.

The front desk position greets and registers guests, coordinates with outdoor maintenance on guest needs and provides general guest services as needed. The ideal person for this job should enjoy friendly conversation with guests. We strive to do anything within reason to provide an enjoyable customer service experience and make the guest happy. Good telephone skills and multi-tasking during a busy shift are necessary. You should be able to perform light physical lifting for stocking, walking, standing and bending for general housekeeping duties like cleaning the bathrooms and cabins. You will also work shifts as the golf-cart escort. This involves guiding campers to their site, delivering ice/firewood, etc and anything that the front desk person might call for on the radio.

Our team is small, so all work campers are expected to clean bathrooms and cabins. This is non-negotiable.
