    Perry KOA Holiday is in the Big Bend area of Florida located one hour south of Tallahassee. The area is known for great fishing, kayaking, birding and scalloping, and being in an area of the last natural coastline in the state! Gulf waters are 17 miles from the park, easily accessible and super shallow. On-site amenities include huge pool, hot tub, fitness center, Clubhouse, cornhole, horseshoes, laundry and propane dispensary. Quiet at night, owners on-site. Local area includes restaurants, grocery stores, auto parts, fast food, small town shops, banks. Big box stores are one hour away in either Tallahassee, Live Oak, or Lake City.

    Work campers are required to have their camper on-site and will have site and electric provided by the park.  Store discounts.  Consecutive days off with a static schedule that won’t change weekly or monthly.   All hours worked will be paid at $16 per hour with a review after one month.  Payroll is weekly and pay by direct deposit each Friday.

Job Description

KOA Icon Award winner Perry KOA Holiday in Florida has an immediate need for campground maintenance jack of all trades!  If you can and are willing to do it all, a little at a time and varied by day, let’s talk!   Thursday through Monday schedule.  9 to 4:30 on weekdays, Saturday/Sunday hours vary, 37.5 weekly.  Weekdays will involve grounds work, weekends will involve general maint/quiet work/response to guest issues.  Basic electrical troubleshooting and ability to change a breaker in a pedestal is required.  Congenial, helpful and willing to assist guests as requested by front desk staff.  This is only occasional.   Use and knowledge of basic hand tools, small power tools, small power lawn equipment and zero turn mowers required.  Assist with mundane campground jobs and interesting projects as they arise. Pool knowledge a plus.  Must be able to be on your feet for your shift, move freely, lift up to 50 pounds.  This is an all-weather mostly outdoor position.
