  • Responsibilities 

    We are looking for you to work primarily in Housekeeping cleaning our bathrooms, two cabins and four Geo Domes. With additional hours if desired in either gardening or helping supervise our water slides. We know great  housekeeping is very improtant to customer satisfaction, So if you have a favorite mop you like or a preferred cleaning product we will get you what you prefer to use.

    What we offer:

    We are the complete package.  We know we ask our staff to wear many hats so we want you to feel appreciated.  We will provide the following:

    Full hook up site

    Laundry stipend

    Free Propane

    Store discount

    Up to $100 a month towards electric -Seems to be enough for most.

    $16 an hour for all hours worked. Overtime if over 40 but that’s rare.

Job Description

Large Upstate Catskill Mountains of New York campground (Catskill Mountains Gilboa KOA) is seeking one dynamic and flexible individual to join our team mid season July 1st for the upcoming 2026 camping season.

What we seek:

An individual who willing primarily in Housekeeping And be cross trained for several positions to ensure proper coverage.  K2 software experience a must.
Being able and willing to fulfill multiple roles helps us offer more hours due to fluctuating needs throughout the season, week to week and day to day. You will be asked to work 20-50 hours a week, Weekly average is 32.
Being versatile will grant you more hours. Your primary position will be housekeeping but you may need to cover the following occasionally.

Gardening

Maintenance

Escorting

Water slide attendant

Safety patrol

We don’t expect you to know how to do everything nor will you actually work in every department.

We are nestled in a quiet area in mountain foothills.  There are many small communities within a stones throw for basic needs, but we are not located near a plethora of tourist activities.  Nearby is hiking, antiquing, farm stands, adorable downtowns and country stores but most larger communities will be closer to an hours distance. If you like seclusion and nature with dark starry nights fireside and enjoy beautiful drives through the countryside we’re the perfect fit.
