Responsibilities Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to;
- Assisting the front desk with guest check-ins, including registration support, and guiding guests to their site
- Picking up litter and collecting trash from around the campground
- Helping staff enforce campground rules and quiet hours in a respectful, professional manner
- Tidying campsites after guest check-out, including collecting trash and cleaning fire pits
- Checking the shower house for cleanliness and reporting any issues
- Answering the after-hours phone to assist guests with locating their campsite, accessing their cabin, etc.
- Monitoring the campground during evening and overnight hours
- Reporting major disturbances to campground management and, when necessary, to local authorities in emergency situations
Compensation/Benefits
- Camp Hosts receive a full-hookup RV site (water, sewer, and electric) in exchange for 20 hours of work per week
- Additional hours are paid at $15/hour, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week
- Free water, sewer, and electric hookups

- Use of a golf cart for getting around the campground when available (a campground vehicle will be provided if a golf cart is unavailable)
- Access to our 23-acre lake for fishing and swimming

Job Description
The Camp Host plays an important role in creating a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for our guests. This position is ideal for someone who is willing, dependable, and happy to be a friendly presence around the campground.
A successful Camp Host has a positive attitude, works well with others, and communicates clearly and respectfully with both guests and team members. Hosts must be comfortable enforcing campground rules and quiet hours in a calm, professional manner to help ensure a peaceful experience for everyone. This role also involves helping keep the campground tidy, assisting guests as needed, and being responsible for the after-hours phone, responding to guests’ concerns.
We’re looking for someone who is always willing to learn, takes pride in their work, and wants to create a campground that they would be happy to stay at.
*Must be able to pass a background check.
