  • Responsibilities 

    Maintenance

    • Perform basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, and maintenance to campground buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds as directed by the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor.
    • Provide Maintenance/Repairs/Security for a resort atmosphere.
    • Provide high standards of service to campers and guests.
    • Provide excellent and friendly guest service by being attentive, responsive and helpful to all guests needs. Greet the guests at every opportunity by demonstrating a friendly welcome and professional demeanor.
    • Present a positive impression with a well-groomed appearance, smiles and proper KOA uniform and name tag.
    • Implement daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs as outlined by the immediate supervisor. Examples include, but are not limited to these areas; pool/spa, lawn mowing, weed eating, landscaping, cleaning of buildings, garbage pick-up, propane pumping, game machine, laundry servicing and various other campground equipment.
    • Comply with all federal and state safety programs by adhering to established guidelines in the operation and storage of various equipment, tools, and chemicals, ensuring your safety, as well as that of fellow staff and campground guests.
    • Report all customer problems, requests or complaints to the manager or supervisor and follow-up to resolve the issue if possible.
    • Maintain safe campground systems, equipment and facilities, including pool, hook-ups, etc.
    • Use safe work practices to avoid accidents of both guests and team members.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
    • Must be able to safely operate various maintenance tools and equipment.
    • Perform all other duties assigned by the manager or supervisor.
    • Cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment, vehicles, buildings and sites.
    • Perform all other duties assigned.
    • Must have a current valid Driver’s License.

    Required abilities

    • Knowledge/experience of electrical and plumbing equipment and installation.
    • Knowledge/experience of pool operations (CPO certification may be required).
    • Knowledge/experience of safe handling and usage of chemical properties.
    • Knowledge/experience of propane and gasoline dispensing.
    • A keen eye for detail and excellent time management skills.
    • Ability to work long and flexible hours and able to stand for long periods of time.
    • Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, decision making and communication skills.
    • Ability to be flexible to changing work environment
    • Available to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
    • Respond to guest criticism and comments in a positive approach.
  • Compensation/Benefits 

    Position is from mid June-Labor Day, 2026. Position will be part time averaging around 25-30 hours per week. Anticipate the schedule to be 4 evening shifts, Monday-Thursday

    Paid for all hours worked at $15.05 per hour. Full hook up site at $40 per paycheck, paid every 2 weeks.

We’re looking for one more energetic, friendly, and dependable work camper to join our team for the 2026 summer season! This single position is for MAINTENANCE.

Our campground sits just one mile from the Pacific Ocean and features 300+ sites, including RV spots, deluxe lodging, rustic cabins, and tent sites. Enjoy access to an indoor activity building, a fun zone with a jumping pillow, gem mining, bike rentals and mini golf, indoor and outdoor pool, an indoor hot tub, fenced dog park and MORE! Summers are lively and fast-paced, filled with themed weekends and a daily full activity schedule.

The surrounding area, Astoria, Warrenton, and Seaside, offers endless things to explore: beaches, waterfalls, mountains, state parks, fishing, shopping, museums etc… Directly across from our KOA is the beautiful Fort Stevens State Park, home to 9+ miles of paved biking and hiking trails, and the ocean is just a short 1.5 walk from the campground. With the Coastal Cascade Mountains within just a few hours drive, it’s truly a dream location to live and work for the summer.

Compensation & Perks:

  • $15.05 per hour, paid for all hours worked-average of 30-35 hours each person per week
  • FHU back-in site: $40 per paycheck per person (paid every other week)
