Down Time DutiesÂ
-There may be some down time during our slow season or the middle of the week, but there are always things that need to be worked on. Please be sure to check with your supervisor or management for things to do to fill your shift. If you are feeling like there is absolutely nothing to do, start at the entrance of the park, and pretend you are a guest arriving for the very first time. Make sure from the entrance and going forward through the park there is no trash, weeds, trimming, mowing, etc that can be done. First impressions are very important, and we want the park to stand out for its appearance in a positive way, not a negative way.Â
- Clean off roads. Sweep, blow, rake debris and pine cones. Use a trash picker to pick up micro trash, and don’t forget to check in bushes, behind the outer sites, and other hard to reach areas 2. Pull weeds in common areas or flower beds.Â

As we are going around the park, make sure to always greet guests and make them feel welcome. We are in the hospitality business. It is our job to make sure the guests have the best experience we can provide, and that they are enjoying their time in the campground.
