  • Responsibilities 

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Opening/closing Kampstore procedures
    • Check-in/check-out guests, store sales in K2
    • On-site presence for safety and security of campground
    • Regular drive-throughs to ensure guest safety and security
    • Verify vehicles on site are registered
    • Cleaning and maintenance of guest restrooms
    • Pick-up of debris and micro-trash throughout campground
    • Weeding of landscaped beds
    • Repair landscape that has been disturbed
    • Respond quickly to guest inquiries and needs
    • Refill propane tanks
    • Deliver firewood
    • Respond to campground disturbances, reporting as necessary
    • Enforce campground policies through friendly guest engagement
  • Compensation/Benefits 

    This is a part-time position, requiring between 15-20 hours each, and hours of work and days will vary based on business needs. Split shifts, evenings, and weekend work will be required as job duties demand.

    Hours worked will be paid an hourly rate, along with a full hook-up RV site for the length of employment, inclusive of trash, water, sewer, and WiFi. Electricity will be metered and due monthly.

Job Description

Position Summary

Provide on-site support of general campground duties to ensure guest satisfaction, including guest check-ins/check-outs and store sales through K2, propane refills, daily cleaning and maintenance of guest restrooms, site preparation, groundskeeping, and positive guest engagement.

The work camper team (2 people) will each work 15-20 hours per week, sharing the job responsibilities between the team. Hours/shifts may vary to ensure guest satisfaction, but days off will be together, if desired.

  • Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests
  • Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards
  • Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way

Education and Experience

  • Sufficient education and literacy are needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English preferred
  • Cash-handling and basic computer skills for store sales

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods standing and walking on even/uneven surfaces and frequently grasping, pulling, pushing, and bending, occasional climbing (stepstools, ladders).
  • Must be able to lift up to10lbs frequently, and up to 40lbs periodically (supplies, propane tanks, trash)
  • Ability to drive utility vehicles throughout property
  • Frequent exposure to outdoor weather elements (sun/heat, rain/cold)
