No experience necessary for Wait Staff and Prep Cooks. Cursory commercial kitchen experience preferred for cooks.
Wait Staff:
Wait Staff are responsible for providing an enjoyable dining experience for all café guests. All employees must be able to handle light to medium lifting and work with cleaning materials. Must be able to stand, bend and kneel for long periods of time. Duties include:
- Greet café guests
- Memorize menus and take orders, answer questions about the menu and area
- Serve/wait on guests
- Keep café and tables clean; cleaning of kitchen and related areasÂ
- Prepare guest checks, check-out guests
- Work closely with other wait staff, prep cook and cook staffÂ
- Daily inventory and restockingÂ
- Completion of daily logs and repair/restock requests
- Report all customer problems, requests, or complaints to the owner/manager
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager/owner
- Present a friendly and helpful attitude to camping guests
- Promote a team environment
Prep Cook Staff:
Prep Staff are responsible for assisting the cook in preparing all café meals. All employees must be able to handle light to medium lifting and work with cleaning materials. Must be able to stand, bend and kneel for long periods of time. Duties include:
- Daily inventory and restocking
- Reading guest orders
- Preparing fried foods
- Cleaning of kitchen and related areasÂ
- Assisting cook in preparation of all meals
- Occasionally assist wait staff with table clearing or drink preparation
- Completion of daily logs and repair/restock requests
- Report all customer problems, requests, or complaints to the owner/manager
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager/owner
- Present a friendly and helpful attitude to camping guests
- Promote a team environment
Cook Staff:
Cook Staff are responsible for overseeing the kitchen and preparing all café meals. All employees must be able to handle light to medium lifting and work with cleaning materials. Must be able to stand, bend and kneel for long periods of time. Duties include:
- Daily inventory and restocking
- Reading guest orders
- Preparing all menu items to order
- Cleaning of kitchen and related areasÂ
- Completion of daily logs and repair/restock requests
