Job responsibilities will be assigned according to the abilities and preferences of each Work Camper, in conjunction with the needs of the campground. Duties may include some light groundskeeping including, but not limited to, mowing, weed whacking, and planting and tending to flowerbeds. Maintenance tasks could include minor electrical, plumbing, septic repairs and minor store, bathhouse and cabin improvements. Office tasks include answering the telephone, accepting reservations, and handling incoming camper registrations, as well as running the store and various campground activities and other duties for a successful transition to a KOA Holiday. Finally, all work campers assist in greeting guests and providing general customer service.

Job Description
Due to a family emergency, our workamper couple had to change plans, so we are looking for a couple to work this season in upstate New York. We open May 9, so the sooner you can get here, the better! We are new to KOA this season, so prior work experience at a KOA is a plus. General maintenance is a must, housekeeping and customer service duties will also be required. We are located near Fair Haven Beach State Park, the Sterling Nature Center and the annual Sterling Renaissance Festival. We offer a free site, electric, laundry use, firewood and $15.50 an hour. Come join our family for a fun camping season in a beautiful part of New York!
